Max Verstappen expressed his dissatisfaction with Red Bull’s performance on Friday at the British Grand Prix, prompting team boss Christian Horner to promise new tools to improve the situation. Despite rumors about Verstappen potentially moving to Mercedes, Horner remained non-committal about the future. Verstappen, a four-time champion with Red Bull, has been struggling this season, lagging behind McLaren. The Dutch driver was critical of the car’s balance and performance at Silverstone, where he faced challenges with the windy conditions affecting the car’s sensitivity. Horner emphasized the team’s continuous pursuit of improvement and mentioned upcoming investments in new tools, including a new wind tunnel, to enhance performance. He acknowledged the need to address specific issues, such as understeer, to enhance the car’s competitiveness, particularly in challenging corners like Turn 6 and 7 at Silverstone.
